Shengeli Kikilashvili, MA second-year student of the faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking at Caucasus International University won 2017 MA Research Contest announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation.
MA research call is dedicated to support MA students to advance their scientific research skills, increase academic level and improve the quality of academic research papers of MA studies. In the categories of seven main disciplines offered at the contest, master’s students of higher education institutions were automatically distributed within the humanitarian, social, natural sciences and agrarian sections according to the competition application.
The project of CIU MA student, Shengeli Kikilashvili envisages the collective study of wild vine species on Jighauri experimental basis and covers seven months. It is worth mentioning that CIU funds the project in partnership with the foundation.
The scientific supervisor of Shengeli Kikilashvili’s work is Davit Maghradze, Academic Doctor of Agricultural Sciences.
We would like to inform you additionally that in total 16 MA students were registered at the section of agricultural sciences and 13 applicants were granted the right to move to the next stage. Eventually, four students were awarded the grants.
