The scientific prize “Tamar” was founded at the Caucasus International University in 2017. The prize is awarded to scientists working at the university once every two years on the basis of scientific activities as the result of the competition.
The scientific prize was named after Georgian King Tamar, the implementer of the progressive and humane policy in the Caucasus, and the patron of intellectuals and artists. The mentioned initiative was implemented with the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II.
The King Tamar Science Prize has been an incentive for scientists working at Caucasus International University for many years, promoting their research and other scientific activities.
