Department of Scientific Researches coordinates the scientific activities of Caucasus International University. The department organizes grant funding of university research, coordinates scientific staff training, identifies grant funding opportunities, and offers academic staff such services as preparation of grant applications - support for submission, technical expertise, provision of field external expertise, etc.

We support the establishment of partnerships with academic circles, business companies, the public sector and non-governmental structures both locally and internationally in order to widen the scope of new knowledge and introduce the practice. CIU scientific portal gives the opportunity to strengthen integration with CIU academic/scientific personnel and offers a platform for creating new projects, interdisciplinary partnerships, sharing knowledge and experience, etc. 

The Department provides equal access and support to resources and services for University researchers, namely:

- selection of grant competitions, provision of application preparation trainings and individual counseling;

- conducting negotiations to attract international institutional partners;

- support to include influential foreign professors in the research of University academic-scientific staff and young scientists;

- professional evaluation of grant applications, editing and provision of external review process (Pre-award services);

- management and administration of grant projects;

- financial and program reporting support for grant projects (Post-award services);

- organization of internal university competitions and supporting events;

- selection of journals for scientific publications; 

- etc.
