The project: “AI-LabMed: Artificial Intelligence for the Development of Laboratory Medicine” is among the winners of the call for Fundamental Research State Grants announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia.
The project aims to create an effective model for the use of big data and artificial intelligence technological solutions for the purposes of healthcare and laboratory medicine.
The leading organization in this project is Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy and the co-participant institution is Caucasus International University.
According to the information provided by the foundation, 528 project applications were registered for the 2024 Call for Fundamental Research State Grants. After undergoing technical review, 493 projects were forwarded for evaluation. The 491 projects in the competition were assessed in three stages by experts from the European Science Foundation - Science Connect, ESF-SC, and based on the expert panels’ final evaluations, 111 projects were selected for funding.
