CIU at the Consortium Meeting of the Horizon Europe–Funded Project in Brussels

Brussels hosted the first official consortium meeting of the project “EIT-BEST: EIT Training, Networking and Best Practices Initiative”. Sesili Gogiberidze, Head of the Scientific Research Department, represented Caucasus International University in the working process held on December 9-10. Within the framework of the meeting, consortium members engaged in in-depth discussions of the project five work packages and jointly developed a strategic action plan for the upcoming months.
The project is the winner of the Horizon Europe competition (Horizon-EIT-2024-NCP-IBA). The lead organization is PRAXI Network, representing a leading organization specializing in technology transfer and innovation support in Greece.
The project consortium brings together 24 organizations from European Union member states and associated countries, including Caucasus International University. The project is coordinated on behalf of CIU by Shorena Kurdadze, Deputy Head of CIU Research Department. The project has a four-year duration and a total consortium budget of €3,248,422.50. Within the framework of the project, a range of activities is planned, including capacity-building trainings in innovation and technology, the strengthening of institutional partnerships, and the exchange of best practices across the consortium.
