Scientific Seminar - Georgian Vine and Wine Culture Research Novelties was held within the framework of the Science and Innovation Festival 2018. The event was organized jointly by CIU Research Department, Public Relations Service, Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking and Georgian National Museum at Archeology Centre. The speaker was Mindia Jalabadze, Doctor of History, Chief Curator of the National Museum.
The seminar was attended by Olan Gotsiridze, Dean of CIU Faculty of Viticulture-Winemaking, undergraduate and postgraduate students of the faculty and young researchers.
Mindia Jalabadze introduced to the guests the exhibition halls and collections of the Georgian National Museum, which are connected with the development of the culture of viticulture and winemaking in Georgia. The chief curator of the National Museum has shown the artifacts to CIU representatives which confirm the 8000-year history of Georgian wine.
We would like to remind you that Science and Innovation Festival has been organized by the initiative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia since 2015. Caucasus International University is also actively involved in this year’s festival, which started on September 22 and will last until October 1.
