Mr. Kakhaber Kordzaia, Caucasus International University Rector and two students of Doctoral Program in Political Sciences, Maya Urushadze and Alexandre Rusetski attended the ceremony organized for the winner researchers of the grant Competition for funding Doctoral Educational Programs announced by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. The event was held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia.
We would like to remind you that CIU doctoral students are the winners of the abovementioned competition and their projects (Interdisciplinary Comparative Analysis of the Complex System of the Abkhaz Conflict with the Innovative 4D-RAV-17 Method – Alexandre Rusetski, Influence of the Fear Factor Caused by External Propaganda Pressure on the Politics of Small Countries – Maya Urushadze) were among the 54 projects which have been selected for funding.
The competition was announced in April, 2018 and according to the information provided by the foundation, in total 160 project proposals have been submitted.
It should be noted that within the framework of the 54 Winning Projects, 33 scientific research visits are planned in 18 different countries of the world, including the leading European and American universities. Compared to the previous year, the competition budget has been increased by 25% and it is 525 000 GEL.
The ceremony was attended by Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, Zviad Gabisonia, Gineral Director of Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and the representatives of research institutes.
