Defense of Lasha Shavadze’s Dissertation Thesis

A public defense of the dissertation thesis by Lasha Shavadze, a student of the Doctoral Program in Political Science was held at Niko Nikoladze Room, Caucasus International University on July 1, 2026. The title of the dissertation thesis was: “Global Politics and the South Caucasus Countries”. 

Scientific Supervisor: Tamar Kiknadze - Doctor of Political Science, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University. Official Reviewers: Maya Kapanadze – Doctor of History, Associate Professor of Caucasus International University; Maya Kipiani - Doctor of Political Science, Professor of Georgian Technical University. Official Experts: Epiphane (Edisher) Gvenetadze – Doctor of Political Science, Professor of Georgian Technical University; Soso / Malkhaz Vakhtangashvili – Doctor of Historical Science, Professor of Caucasus International University. 

After presenting the dissertation thesis and completing the relevant procedures, by the decision of the Dissertation Council, Lasha Shavadze was awarded the academic title of Doctor of Political Science.
