The achievements of women scientists at Caucasus International University (CIU) continue to reach new heights each year! It is noteworthy that women researchers play an important role in international scientific activities - they actively participate in international conferences and publish their research in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
CIU women scientists have obtained numerous research grants, including funding from the Horizon Europe framework program, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, and CIU internal research grant competitions. Many of them are also the winners of the prestigious “Tamari” scientific award.
It is noteworthy that the United Nations proclaimed February 11 as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on December 22, 2015. The initiative aims to encourage greater participation of women in science and to support their expanding role in science, innovation and technology.
