Research Laboratory for International Law represents an inner structural unit of Caucasus International University. Its aim is to facilitate the development of the science of law at the university, to implement scientific-research activities in the field of law, to research legislative problems and to work out and realize projects necessary for the development of civic society.
Due to the above mentioned aims, the objectives of the Research Laboratory of International Law are to conduct conferences, seminars, discussions, forums, educational courses and various scientific events and to engage students in them. In addition, the laboratory strives to establish partnership with international educational and scientific-research institutions, various social organizations, local and international donors and to publish scientific journal (electronic version) in the field of law.
Two research projects: Obligations of Georgia under the Association Agreement with the European Union and Their Significance; Jury Court Peculiarities in Georgia and Abroad implemented in 2017 are worth mentioning.
Currently the project International Labor Standards and Level of Awareness of Georgian Population is underway.
The projects are for undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of accredited universities in Georgia.
The research is supervised and coordinated by Caucasus International University academic personnel.
In addition, the university annually publishes students’ scientific collection of works - “Significant Issues of Law”.
